Burgundy is renowned for its fine food and wine.  We'd be happy to recommend local restaurants or hidden wine producers.  You won't be disappointed!

Whether it's mountain or road bikes, there is something for everyone.  Endless traffic-free roads, canal towpaths or forest tracks, whatever your level you will simply love cycling here. We have two bikes available for use, or can put you in touch with a local rental company.  If you bring your own we can offer safe and secure storage. We would be happy to propose a number of local routes, and can even put you in touch with a local club if you wish to ride out with others.

5 hours from Calais by car, 2 1/2 hours from Paris (just an hour if you take the TGV), good food, great wine, delightful villages, excellent sports facilities. Not many people can point to Burgundy on a map, but you'll recognise the village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain if you have seen the film Chocolat. Want to go shopping?  Then Troyes or Dijon beckon...

Les Papillons is a charming, spacious cottage in a tranquil French village and is surrounded by a private garden, bushes and trees which attract an amazing range of butterflies and birds. The rooms in the cottage offer various spaces where you can rest, listen to music, read or even write, whereas the garden provides a range of seating areas in and out of the sun where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Just 15 minutes away, you can visit the local swimming complex including a 25m pool and a wellness area offering a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, or book yourself in for a massage at one of our recommended beauty salons. Finish the day with a glass of something cool back home in the garden.
